Kerala State Co-operative Textile Federation Limited (TEXFED),  is the apex body of Co-operative Spinning Mills and Integrated Powerloom Co-operative Societies in the State.

 

TEXFED integrates all the segments of the  textile industry in its fold i.e., from spinning to  weaving, processing and garmenting.  The spinning mills produce different counts of yarn suitable for the handloom  as well as powerloom industry.  The modern processing unit being inaugurated soon  in the premises of the Calicut Powerloom Society at Naduvannur is  one of the unique unit in the state.  The modern garment unit which is also being set by the Calicut Powrloom Society is aimed to produce  quality garments suitable for export as well as for domestic consumption.
